Whether you are a novice or a seasoned gardener, container gardening provides an easy option to bring color, edibles, and greenery to any environment. In a container garden you can control the soil content, the feeding, the watering and the sun exposure in a way you cannot out in the garden. But as the saying somewhat goes, with great control comes great responsibility, and remembering all the “how to’s” of being responsible for container gardening care can sometimes be a little daunting. With the introduction of the TruDrop system in the Dot and Rim planters comes a new era of container gardening. The planters comes all one piece, it has a water gauge that can be easily read to indicate levels of water in the reservoir and which lays flush on the rim so there are no parts that can be easily broken off, it has a system that works outdoors as well as indoors by including an overflow valve for outdoor planter placement and a quick-coupler to connect to a hose when indoor planters need to be drained. With our TruDrop system Dot and Rim planters, beauty meets function and makes container growing a whole lot easier.

Quick Start Guide
Plant
1For outdoor use remove red plug from underneath the planter. For indoor use, make sure all pugs are securely fastened. Completely fill the yellow highlighted area with a high quality soil-less potting mix, before placing your plant.
Water
2Water the container thoroughly from the top. For best results, mix in a water soluble fertilizer. Finish filling the container via the intake hole slowly to receive accurate reading, until the indicator reads full.
Let the magic begin
3Initially, monitor the water level indicator every two weeks to determine ideal watering frequency, which will vary depending on plant and location. Only water from the intake hole unless you are adding new fertilizer.
Warning: If you are using outdoors in winter and temperatures in your area reach below freezing, be sure to drain out the planter during those months.
