Formerly called "Tobi-Ishi", our Weathered Basalt Stepping Stone is mostly grey with some brown and tan variations. This all natural Basalt is quarried in the Squamish Basin in southwestern British Columbia. The naturally tumbled, weathered surface makes for an excellent stepper where a rugged, aged appearance is sought after. Some Japanese gardeners refer to this stone as "Tobi Ishi", the Japanese word for "stepping stone".
